Memorial Day Weekend 2025 Fishing Report

It was a challenging weekend on the water, with a recent temperature drop and strong winds making conditions tough. The colder water temps had the fish a bit sluggish and off the bite, but we stuck with it and still found some success.
The Lipsky boys managed to put a few keeper weakfish in the cooler and battled some big bluefish—great action despite the tough bite. The Kauffman family joined us for a calm, wind-free morning trip, and while we drifted through mostly short weakfish and fluke, they had a blast tangling with some feisty sand sharks.
In the afternoon, the Nikolov boys came aboard. Fishing remained tricky, but they managed to land a keeper weakfish and a few porgies, along with a good number of shorts to keep things interesting.
With warmer weather on the way, conditions should improve, and we expect the bite to pick up again soon. The fish should stick around longer as temps stabilize—things are looking up!
