Father & Son Weakfish
Took out Ben Tuthill, his father, and friend Wayne yesterday for some Peconic Bay Fishing. We had fish on the first drop, catching a mix of porgy's and sea robins. After moving around a bit, we hit into the weakfish. In a few drifts, we boated a good number, and kept two fish measuring 24" & 22" - nice weakfish. We then had a mixture of sand sharks and some large porgy's that went into the box. A great day for father and son, and some tasty fillets for the table. Come on out, summer is finally here, and the fish are biting.
