Lite Tackle Skiff Trip

Had a charter cancellation, so I called my friend John Ingrilli and jumped into the Mako Proskiff, and headed over to Shinnecock Bay for some light tackle fluking. Had a great ride over, and got there to an incoming tide. We had fish on the first drift, with John bagging a keeper. We had many more shorts & sea robins. We moved around a lot, and tried different combinations of lures until I caught another nice keeper fluke. It was a great trip, and the cool ocean air was a relief to the oppressive heat at home.
